The innate ability belongs to the woman, which often is unconsciously carried out, to make her partner believe that his is the fault for any unsatisfaction she's tormented by. And even when she's the origin of the unsatisfactions, fears and doubts gripping the man, she is able to make him believe that he is the cause and that the cause is in him, persuading him to feel guilty a take all the responsibilities. It needs time and physical distance for the man to realise what's the right perspective of things and put all the pieces in the right place, freeing himself of the guilt, but burdening himself with a sense of impotence.
