Geography

"Do you Italians,over there in East Europe, have..."
-Italy is not in East Europe.
"Really? OK, it doesn't matter.It's the same thing."


History

"At least we hadn't religious wars in UK."
-What? And what about Henry VIII or Oliver Cromwell?
"Who are they?"


Religion and etymology

-The Anglican Church was founded in England.
"Really? I didn't know it was born here."
-Anglican means English.
"What? Sure?"
-Never heard ANGLO-Saxon?
"Is it the same thing? I never made the connection."


Languages

-Before English, the universal languages had been Greek, Latin and French.
"Even French?! I didn't know it. Wait a moment! But didn't Latin come from English?"
